Q: What material is used for TERRAN rafts?
A: All TERRAN rafts are made of 1.2mm/1100 denier pvc. This includes main tubes, floor, and wear patches.
Q: What is the difference between an X-version and a regular TERRAN raft?
A: The regular bottom of a TERRAN raft is 1.2mm/1100 denier (except at the tube wear patch where it is 2.4mm/2200 denier). The X-version has extra thickness added to its entire bottom: The floor increases from 1.2mm/1100 denier to 1.5mm/2200 denier. The tube bottoms are “double-wrapped” increasing to 2.4mm/2200 denier in their entirety.
Q: What is the warranty on rafts, kayaks, and iSUP boards?
A: Rafts, catarafts, and kayaks carry a 5 year non-commercial materials and workmanship warranty.Stand up paddle boards carry a 3 year warranty .
Q: What style valves are used on rafts, catarafts, kayaks, and float tubes?
A: All 2o17 models are made with genuine Leafield D7 valves. The D7 valve has a higher inflation rate and a slightly shorter profile than the older C7 valve. For rafts with I-beam floors, the Leafield A6 relief valve is used and includes a mesh cap to keep dirt and debris from getting inside the valve (An extra inflation valve is included with your purchase of rafts, catarafts, and kayaks. Also, a D7/A6 spanner tool/valve wrench and a D7 pump fitting/adaptor are included.)
